The UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) is introducing mandatory eInvoicing (Digital Tax Invoicing System) to modernize VAT compliance and enhance business efficiency. Starting in July 2026, eInvoicing will be rolled out in multiple phases, making it essential for all registered businesses to prepare early.

UAE eInvoicing Implementation Timeline

✔ July 2026:         Large businesses must assign an Approved Service Provider (ASP)
✔ January 2027:  Large enterprises (turnover ≥ AED 50M) – Go Live
✔ March 2027:     SMEs must assign an Approved Service Provider (ASP)
✔ July 2027:         SMEs (turnover < AED 50M) – Go Live
✔ October 2027:  Government entities – Go Live
